And so the Brushy Creek Arts and Crafts Pageant was born.

On March 19, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the pair and 30 or more regional artists, artisans and craftsmen will open up the next once-a-year pageant at its new spot at 6637 Freeway 80 among Wrens and Waynesboro.

James Barrow explained that this is a juried arts and crafts pageant.

“We are only accepting legitimate artisans,” La’Shanta extra. “It has to be hand-designed, property-grown or property-cooked. We’re not likely to have resale things. This is for regional artists and their earnings are their very own.”
