BOONE, N.C. — Propelled by an enthusiastic reception in its inaugural year, the Boonerang New music & Arts Festival right now announces its music lineup for the second yearly free neighborhood party presented by the City of Boone and supporting companions. The festival returns to downtown Boone Thursday via Saturday, June 15-17.
Twenty musical acts verified for the 2023 version of Boonerang include Asheville-based mostly, born-in-Boone funk outfit Yo Mama’s Massive Fats Booty Band, bluegrass icons the Larry Keel Experience, blues and soul rockers (and App Point out alums) Abby Bryant & The Echoes, wife-and-partner roots duo Zoe & Cloyd and classical-impressed folks purveyors the Kruger Brothers.
