Keela Dooley Marshall is the new executive director of the Floyd Center for the Arts. She has degrees from Radford University and the University of North Texas in Denton.

As a sculptor and metalsmith, Marshall provides an personal being familiar with of the innovative method to her new placement.

Marshall pursued her like of art by enrolling at Radford right after graduating from Auburn Superior Faculty in Riner.

She concluded a bachelor’s diploma in Studio Art, with a focus in Metalsmithing and Jewelry Style, in 2015.

Marshall was mentored by Master Metalsmith Alison Pack Bova, and was named the Art Department’s Most Outstanding Senior.

Her master’s experiments at UNT enabled her to embrace her pedagogy, engineering and innovation even though retaining her traditional studio practice.
