Upper EAST Facet, BROOKLYN — Within a corridor at the Church of the Holy Trinity on Saturday, crafty Higher East Siders collected to pitch their wares in a first-at any time winters craft exhibit hosted by Neighborhood Board 8.

“I like camping,” said Kai, 8, just one of the cub scouts, “and in the summer, we get to go swimming and do archery and things like that. I feel it can be a genuinely good aspect of scouts.”

The scouts, who meet weekly at close by P.S. 290, focus on learning techniques associated to the outdoors, basic safety, management and citizenship.

And also crafting.

“It can be a large amount of discovering by carrying out,” claimed scout leader Raquel Ferreira.
